The Provincial Fatherland Front continues to effectively implement the '2C' tasks and the 'Digital Front'.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 12th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held its 6th conference to evaluate the results of the first six months of the year and implement key tasks from now until the end of 2021.

The conference was held online at 4 provincial-level locations and 21 district-level locations. Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, and the Vice Chairpersons of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province co-chaired the meeting.
Attending the conference were: Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
Successfully fulfilling the "2C" task.
Reporting on the results of the first six months of the year, the conference affirmed that the activities ofFrontAnd the members actively participated in the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term, achieving many impressive results.
The Fatherland Front at all levels has chaired and organized 14,429 conferences, including consultations, nominations of candidates, gathering opinions from voters in their places of residence regarding candidates, and voter outreach and election campaigning by candidates…; and organized 876 inspection and supervision teams.electorat various levels and participated in 987 inspection teams of the Election Committee at the same level...

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its members also actively participated in election-related organizations at all levels, especially in 3,416 polling stations, contributing to the overall success of the elections in the area with the highest voter turnout rate compared to recent elections, ensuring improved structure and quality of representatives.
The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has also successfully implemented the "2C" task - bridge and Covid-19. This involves continuing to play a bridging role in conveying the Party's guidelines and resolutions, and the State's policies and laws into practice; acting as a bridge to disseminate information and mobilize all segments of the population to implement Covid-19 prevention and control measures; and connecting and calling on organizations and individuals to support the Covid-19 prevention and control fund, as well as providing support to frontline forces fighting the epidemic and people in quarantine areas and lockdown zones in the province and localities, especially focusing on supporting Ho Chi Minh City.

Over the past six months, despite the focus on election work and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Fatherland Front at all levels has effectively played its role as a bridge in mobilizing resources to care for the poor and those with particularly difficult circumstances.
The Tet program for the poor in 2021 alone raised over 90 billion VND; the Fund for the Poor raised 26.4 billion VND in the first six months of the year and supported the construction and repair of 319 solidarity houses, along with livelihood support through livestock such as cows, goats, and poultry for many poor households…

The Fatherland Front at all levels has also proactively participated in building the Party and government through many creative and innovative methods, especially actively participating in providing feedback on policies, projects, and plans for socio-economic development at all levels.
At the provincial level alone, 71 documents from the Provincial People's Committee and various departments and agencies were reviewed; and 947 documents from district and commune levels were reviewed…
Besides the positive activities, in the first six months of the year, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the time-consuming organization of the elections, some localities were unable to hold regular dialogues between the heads of Party committees and government with the people.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have not yet implemented monitoring activities regarding the moral cultivation and lifestyle of leaders, key officials, cadres, and Party members as stipulated by the Secretariat of the Central Committee.
The campaigns and patriotic emulation movements led by the Vietnam Fatherland Front have not been implemented uniformly across localities and levels...
Promoting the Digital Front initiative.
In response to practical demands, at the conference, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh emphasized the need for the Fatherland Front system and its members to continue their efforts, transforming difficulties and challenges into opportunities and valuable experiences to ensure that the Front's work in the last six months of the year yields many positive results.
The focus is on continuing to effectively implement the "2C" tasks - bridging the gap and addressing Covid-19; and promoting digital transformation and the "Digital Front" in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its members.

The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province also called on the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations to continue strengthening coordination and unified action, participating in building the Party and the government; promoting propaganda among all strata of the people to stand together and agree with the Party committees and governments at all levels to successfully implement the "dual task" of both preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic and developing production.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province also called on all levels, sectors, organizations, and people to respond to the "For the City Named After Uncle Ho" Week and stand together with the people to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
