Nghe An: Loan sales for policy subjects increase sharply

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 13, under the chairmanship of comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies held a regular meeting to review the activities of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the coming time.

According to the report, as of June 30, 2021, the total capital reached VND 9,671 billion, an increase of VND 645 billion compared to 2020, achieving a growth rate of 7.15%. Loan turnover in the first 6 months of the year reached VND 1,905 billion, an increase of 15% over the same period last year. Of which, 13/20 credit programs are providing capital to poor households and otherpolicy object.

Some programs have large loan turnover such as: loan program for near-poor households of 508 billion VND, loan for households newly escaping poverty of 459 billion VND, loan for production and business households in difficult areas of 313 billion VND; loan to support employment of 115 billion VND,... 07/20 programs stopped providing preferential credit capital (due to the end of the implementation period), only debt collection was carried out.

Debt collection turnover reached 1,267 billion VND, up 11% over the same period last year; debt collection turnover accounted for 66.5% of loan turnover, contributing significantly to creating a stable and proactive revolving loan source in the locality, meeting the borrowing needs of poor households and policy beneficiaries.

As of June 30, 2021, the total outstanding debt reached VND 9,643 billion/20 policy credit programs, achieving a growth rate of 7.05%, completing the credit growth target for 2021 according to the Resolution of the Provincial Board of Directors.
