The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control held an urgent meeting with the two districts of Tuong Duong and Ky Son.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control agreed with the proposal of Tuong Duong district to implement social distancing in the entire district according to Directive 15 starting from 0:00 on July 16, 2021.

Chiều 15/7, Ban Chỉ đạo phòng, chống dịch Covid-19 tỉnh Nghệ An đã có cuộc họp khẩn với 2 huyện Tương Dương và Kỳ Sơn.
Tham dự cuộc họp có lãnh đạo Sở Y tế; Huyện ủy, UBND huyện Tương Dương và huyện Kỳ Sơn; CDC Nghệ An; Trung tâm Y tế các huyện Anh Sơn, Con Cuông.
Theo báo cáo của huyện Tương Dương: Sau 2 ngày phát hiện ca dương tính đầu tiên, đến chiều ngày 15/7, bản Chăm Puông, xã Lượng Minh, huyện Tương Dương đã có 12 ca bệnh.
Ngay sau khi có ca bệnh tại cộng đồng, huyện Tương Dương đã khẩn trương họp, ban hành văn bản, chỉ đạo cả hệ thống chính trị vào cuộc tham gia chống dịch; tích cực phối hợp với CDC Nghệ An tiến hành truy vết 130 trường hợp F1, lấy 640 mẫu xét nghiệm cho toàn bộ người dân bản Chăm Puông; phong tỏa, chốt chặn các địa điểm và tiến hành cách ly các trường hợp theo quy định… Riêng huyện Kỳ Sơn, theo điều tra, truy vết có 22 trường hợp F1 và 102 trường hợp F2 liên quan đến các ca bệnh của huyện Tương Dương.
Tại cuộc làm việc, đồng chí Dương Đình Chỉnh - Phó trưởng Ban Chỉ đạo phòng, chống dịch Covid-19 tỉnh, Giám đốc Sở Y tế Nghệ An đã ghi nhận sự vào cuộc quyết liệt của cả hệ thống chính trị xã hội huyện Tương Dương khi dịch bệnh xuất hiện tại địa phương.

The continuous appearance of F0 cases in the community has shown that the epidemic has many potential high risks. In the difficult travel conditions, uneven population and many regional customs, if drastic and timely prevention and control measures are not implemented, the epidemic can break out strongly, causing many unpredictable consequences.
Comrade Duong Dinh Chinh suggested: Tuong Duong district needs to be proactive, drastic, synchronous, and scientific in epidemic prevention and control work and mobilize the participation of the entire political system; continue to respond "Quickly and Correctly" and promote "4 on-site" to fight the epidemic.
The district needs to urgently investigate and trace related subjects; strictly quarantine subjects according to regulations, avoid cross-infection and organize second sample collection for F1 subjects; organize disinfection and detoxification of areas related to F0 subjects; fully prepare human resources, facilities, medical supplies to respond to the epidemic; activate and maintain effective operation of tracing teams (led by police), sampling teams, community Covid teams...

The Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control agreed with the proposal of Tuong Duong district to request the Provincial People's Committee to allow social distancing in the entire district according to Directive 15 starting from 0:00 on July 16, 2021; continue to implement social distancing in the entire Luong Minh commune according to Directive 16; establish a medical isolation area in Cham Puong village to prevent the epidemic.
Regarding Ky Son district, the Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control requested the district to continue to pay attention to screening people traveling to, from, and returning from epidemic areas; urgently take samples for testing of F1 cases and deploy epidemic prevention and control solutions in localities bordering the epidemic areas, avoiding the spread of the disease in the area.
The Director of the Department of Health also assigned tasks to CDC Nghe An, Anh Son Medical Center, Con Cuong to support human resources, coordinate with Tuong Duong district to participate in disease prevention and control...
On this occasion, the Department of Health presented 300 rapid antigen tests, 2,500 masks, 100 sets of anti-epidemic clothing to Tuong Duong district; and 200 rapid tests and 1,000 anti-epidemic masks to Ky Son district./.
