Nghe An: Launching a creative and promotional award on the topic of studying and following Uncle Ho

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 15, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee launched the Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", at the provincial level for the period 2021 - 2025.

The award was launched to continue promoting the role and responsibility; promptly encourage, motivate and recognize the effective contributions of journalists, artists, cadres, party members and people of the province during the participation process.

Along with that, through creative artistic activities, the press arouses patriotism, contributes to nurturing the souls of Nghe An people, enhances the values ​​of truth - goodness - beauty to contribute to building Nghe An into a prosperous province as Uncle Ho always wished.

In order for the award to be implemented effectively, the Provincial Party Committee issued a Decision to establish an Award Organizing Committee consisting of relevant agencies, departments and branches.

The Organizing Committee of the Award will, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, develop the Award Regulations, establish the Preliminary and Final Jury Committees; organize and implement propaganda and promotion activities for the Award and carry out the reception, selection and judging stages in the province; send quality works to participate in the Central-level Award according to the Regulations.

During the period 2021 - 2025, the Organizing Committee will organize 2 rounds of receiving works and applications for the award:

- Phase I, from the launch of the award to November 15, 2022, the award ceremony will be held on the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 2023).

- Phase II, from November 15, 2022 to November 15, 2024 and the award ceremony will be held on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 2025).

Each work, group of works, or project can only participate in one category of the award. Works, groups of works, or projects that have been submitted to participate in awards by Central professional associations will not be submitted to participate in awards at the provincial level.

The standing agency of the Preliminary Board at the provincial level will be the place to receive works submitted to participate in the award, including: Department of Culture - Sports receives promotional works; Provincial Journalists Association receives press works and Provincial Literature - Arts Association receives literary - artistic works.

The award organizing committee calls on artists, journalists, researchers, cultural activists, officials, party members, students and people from all walks of life in the province to actively respond and participate with many new ideas, creating works and promotional activities of high quality, artistic value and value in the period of 2021 - 2025.

Thereby, contributing to promoting the patriotic emulation movement, building the Party, the political system and successfully implementing the Resolutions set forth by Party Congresses at all levels.
