Woman stung by wasp while picking blackberry in the mountains and hospitalized

(Baonghean.vn) - After 3 days of hospitalization, Ms. Le Thi Nga (61 years old) in Thanh Lam commune (Thanh Chuong) - a woman who was stung by a wasp while picking blackberry in the forest has not yet recovered.

After 3 days of treatment at the Poison Control Department,Nghe An General Friendship Hospital, Mrs. Le Thi Nga is still in critical condition. Ms. Le Thi Hanh (27 years old), Mrs. Nga's daughter, is taking care of her mother at the hospital and said: "The doctor said my mother's condition is still not good."

Previously, on the morning of July 12, Ms. Nga and some women in Hamlet 5, Thanh Lam Commune invited each other to go into the forest to pick sim to sell. While picking sim at Mong Ga Mountain, at 9:00 a.m. the same day, Ms. Nga was stung by a bee. Hearing the cry for help, a woman who was picking sim ran to see Ms. Nga being stung.waspscrowded with people, hurriedly ran back to the village to call for help.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Tuyen (25 years old) - the person who participated in moving Mrs. Nga from the mountain to her home said: Receiving information that Mrs. Nga was stung by a bee, everyone in the neighborhood quickly ran up Mong Ga mountain, when they arrived, Mrs. Nga was unconscious.

"Three of us took turns carrying Mrs. Nga down the mountain. After that, she was taken to the Commune Health Station and transferred to Nghe An General Hospital," said Mr. Tuyen.

Here, the doctor said that Mrs. Nga was hospitalized in critical condition, with acute kidney failure, and the bee venom had penetrated her heart and lungs. She is being monitored and treated intensively at the Poison Control Department. After 3 days of treatment, Mrs. Nga's health is still "not good".

It is known that Mrs. Nga's family is in difficult circumstances. She is a single mother raising two children. Her eldest daughter is married in Huong Son district (Ha Tinh), but the family is not well off, so she had to send her young child back to her grandmother to raise.

Her youngest son is in a re-education camp because he broke the law. She stays home alone and works to support herself and her grandchildren. During the rose myrtle season, she often goes to the mountains to pick rose myrtle and sell it to earn some money.

Faced with the difficult circumstances of Mrs. Nga's family, people in Hamlet 5, Thanh Lam Commune are calling on people inside and outside the hamlet to join hands in donating to help her.
