On July 20th, the leaders of Chieu Luu commune,Ky Son districtAccording to reports, the People's Committee of the commune has just issued a decision to impose administrative penalties on Mr. NXP for violating Directive 16 of the Prime Minister on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Mr. NXP is a self-employed individual residing in Thach Son commune, Anh Son district. Previously, Mr. P. was transporting goods on National Highway 7, passing through Hong Tien village, Chieu Luu commune (Ky Son district), and was instructed by functional forces stationed at the Hong Tien village checkpoint to comply with epidemic prevention requirements.

Specifically, Mr. P. was only permitted to travel through areas experiencing an outbreak and was not allowed to stop to sell goods. However, after passing the checkpoint, Mr. NXP still stopped to sell goods to grocery stores along the road.

Upon detecting the violation, the authorities issued an administrative penalty notice to Mr. NXP, fining him 5 million VND.

Previously, on July 19, 2021, the People's Committee of Ky Son District issued Decision No. 283-QD/UB on establishing a social isolation zone to prevent and control Covid-19 in Chieu Luu commune, in accordance with Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on implementing urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic for the entire commune.Chieu Luu, Ky Son district.

As of the morning of July 21, 2021, nine cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection have been recorded in La Ngan and Luu Tien hamlets of Chieu Luu commune. Investigations and contact tracing of these F0 cases are very complex, involving contact with many people. The District Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control requests that Party committees and authorities in communes and towns strengthen control over population movements and the movement of citizens to and from the locality, especially in areas currently experiencing outbreaks.
