Nghe An adds regulations on Covid-19 prevention in the new situation

(Baonghean.vn) - Citizens from other provinces coming to Nghe An, and citizens from other provinces returning to Nghe An must go to medical stations and medical centers to make a declaration. Food service establishments do not serve on-site people on vehicles from other provinces traveling through the area.

On July 22, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province issued Document No. 3190 "On organizing quarantine and taking samples for testing for people from localities across the country coming to/returning to/passing through Nghe An province" to provincial departments, branches, sectors, unions, and organizations; Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of districts, cities, and towns.

Accordingly, the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and ControlNghe AnRequest the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of districts, cities, towns; Departments, branches, sectors, unions, and organizations at the provincial level to deploy enhanced measures in Covid-19 prevention and control according to the provisions in Official Dispatch No. 4600/UBND-BCĐ dated July 6, 2021, Official Dispatch No. 3082/SYT-NVY dated July 17, 2021 of the Department of Health on enhancing the effectiveness of Community Covid Teams in screening and managing people coming to/returning fromlocalnationwide

In addition, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province also added a number of requirements and measures to prevent and control Covid-19, specifically:

All citizens from provinces and cities who come to Nghe An to stay or citizens from the province who go out of the province when returning must go to the nearest Health Station or Health Center to make a medical declaration and be guided, classified, and assigned to implement epidemic prevention and control measures before returning home.

Food service establishments in the province must strictly implement the 5K requirements, ensuring safety in epidemic prevention according to the provisions of Decision 3888/QD-BYT dated September 8, 2020 of the Minister of Health; recommend that food service establishments install surveillance cameras and encourage take-away sales. Do not serve food and drinks on-site (only take-away sales are allowed) to people on out-of-province vehicles traveling through the province.

The organization of quarantine and testing to prevent Covid-19 epidemic has also been adjusted by the Steering Committee for Covid-19 epidemic prevention of Nghe An province, accordingly:

Centralized quarantine for at least 14 days (except for cases of people entering the country to work for less than 14 days and cases of entry quarantine according to other regulations of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and the Ministry of Health). Organize testing at least 4 times on the first day, the third day, the seventh day and the 13th day during the centralized quarantine period (pooling samples from the second time onwards).

Continue to isolate at home or place of residence for at least 14 days (from the date of the Decision to complete centralized isolation). Organize sample collection on the 7th day from the date of isolation at home or place of residence.

For cases quarantined before July 16, 2021, quarantine ends when all of the following conditions are met: Quarantine period is over 14 days; cases with the most recent test being over 72 hours from the time of sample collection, retesting is required, if negative, quarantine ends.

The unit managing the centralized quarantine area is responsible for coordinating with relevant units to notify the local authorities where the citizen resides to continue to organize management and home quarantine until at least 28 days have passed since the last day of contact with the infected person (or the date of starting centralized quarantine)./.
