(Baonghean.vn) - From 1:45 p.m. on July 24, Ban Ang Hydropower Plant, Tuong Duong district will discharge flood water with a flow rate of 500 - 1,000 m3/s.

Information from Nam Mo Hydropower Joint Stock Company, Nam Non, at 9:45 a.m. on July 24, the water level at the hydropower reservoirEnglish versionIn Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district, the elevation increased by 400m.3/s, and is capable of increasing to 500 -1,000 m3/s in the next 4-6 hours.
To ensure the safe regulation of the reservoir of Ban Ang Hydropower Plant, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control issued Notice No. 113/TB-PCTT on the operation and regulation of water at the reservoir of Ban Ang Hydropower Plant, Xa Luong Commune, Tuong Duong District.
Accordingly, Nam Mo and Nam Non Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans toflood dischargewith flow 500 - 1,000 m3/s (including through the generators and through the spillway gates).
The discharge time starts from 13:45 on July 24 until the water flow to the lake drops below 189.3 m.3/S.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control informs the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district and heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors, investors constructing along the river, owners of waterway vehicles and people living downstream of the Ban Ang Hydropower Plant, in order to proactively carry out necessary tasks to ensure the safety of people's lives and property and the State./.
