On the night of July 26, the Nghe An CDC Rapid Response Team and the Quynh Luu District Medical Center have been investigating and tracing samples of F1 and F2 cases of the two patients. At 10:00 a.m. this morning (July 27), Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Director of the Nghe An Department of Health will meet to discuss urgent anti-epidemic solutions with the Quynh Luu District Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: On the morning of July 27, Nghe An announced 2 new cases of Covid-19 infection, who are employees of Minh An General Hospital.
1. Patient TTT, female, born in 1993. Occupation: Nurse. Address: Tan Thang Hamlet, An Hoa Commune, Quynh Luu District. The patient worked at Minh An General Hospital and was assigned to strengthen the work of collecting rapid SARS-CoV-2 test samples on July 21. During the shift, patient LVC tested positive for rapid testing and was confirmed positive by CDC on July 22. On July 26, patient TTT was sampled for a routine rapid test and the results were positive twice (once every 5 days and the previous test was negative). Immediately after that, the patient was isolated at Minh An General Hospital and the Quynh Luu Medical Center took samples and sent them to CDC for testing, which confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
2. Patient NTH, female, born in 1989. Occupation: Nurse. Address: Hamlet 11, Quynh Hung Commune, Quynh Luu District. The patient works at Minh An General Hospital. On July 21, she participated in the cashier duty for Covid-19 rapid test customers at the hospital gate. During the shift, patient LVC tested positive for rapid test and was confirmed positive by CDC on July 22. On July 26, patient NTH was sampled for a routine rapid test and the results were positive twice (once in 5 days and the previous consecutive test was negative).
Immediately afterwards, the patient was quarantined at Minh An General Hospital and had his sample taken by Quynh Luu Medical Center and sent to CDC for testing, with the result confirming that he was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus... History: On June 21, the patient received the first injection of Astra Zeneca vaccine to prevent Covid-19.
