The new Kim Son - Que Phong market has commenced operations.

At the end of July 2021, after 9 months of construction and preparation, Kim Son Market was officially opened and welcomed its first customers. Thus, the impressions of a dilapidated, run-down, unsanitary, and unsafe old market have officially faded away, giving way to the new Kim Son Market, with a total investment of over 100 billion VND, boasting modern architecture, a solid structure, and meeting all standards for hygiene, food safety, and fire prevention.

In less than 48 hours, the local authorities and the investor HACOVINA coordinated to move all the vendors from the old market into the new market, completely closing the temporary market. The leaders of Que Phong district expressed their great joy at this achievement.projectThe key project, with its rapid construction time, has officially commenced operations, and the market relocation was also carried out quickly. At the same time, we express our gratitude to the investor for supporting the locality with over 2 billion VND to build and repair the district hall, cultural center, and other projects, including solidarity housing for the poor in the area; and over 1 billion VND to quickly repair and build the temporary market and relocate the medium-voltage power lines away from the project.

Observations show that a large number of small traders have established stable businesses and are welcoming a large number of customers to the new market. In addition, many new traders are still busy setting up their stalls and preparing the necessary equipment to officially open their businesses.

The few remaining 3.5-story kiosks also attracted a large number of interested customers who came to inquire and place orders. According to the investor, the outer row of kiosks currently houses mostly well-known brands in the fashion and electronics sectors, promising to create the most bustling business environment in the town and Que Phong district.

Recognizing the significant increase in estimated business profits compared to operating in the old, informal market, coupled with a secure, safe, and stable trading environment, many small traders from the upper market and outside customers quickly visited and reserved business stalls in the new market. During this time, the investor implemented many favorable policies regarding price and payment schedules to support traders relocating to the new market, notably including a policy of providing free business space in the open-air market for traders from the upper market.

To improve the efficiency of the new market and help people feel secure in their trading activities, the District People's Committee had previously issued an official document requesting local authorities to take action to remind and penalize people who were illegally doing business on sidewalks, roads, and temporary markets. Through a combination of propaganda and enforcement measures, the chaotic trading situation has been largely resolved, restoring the town's green, clean, beautiful, and civilized appearance.

Currently, the temporary market has been officially dismantled, and all buying and selling activities have been moved to the new Kim Son market. With the new market, not only do the people benefit from a modern and integrated commercial facility, making daily shopping and trading more convenient, but the town's appearance and economy have also undergone a spectacular transformation, becoming more bustling and developed, making a strong impression on tourists visiting the district town.
