On the afternoon of August 9, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed: In the past 12 hours (from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 9),Nghe Anrecorded 1 new positive caseCovid-19.

The new Covid-19 infection case is NTD, female, born in 1990. Occupation: Freelance. Address: Quynh Lien Commune, Hoang Mai Town. The patient is the mother of patient HVTA (born in 2018) who was previously announced. On July 31, after patient HVTA tested positive for SARS-COV-2, because he was still young, patient NTD went along to take care of him. The patient was tested on July 30 and August 3, both with negative results. On August 8, the patient's third sample was sent to the CDC, and on August 9, the result was positive for SARS-COV-2.

The cumulative number of patients who have been cured, discharged, or transferred to higher levels is 182. The cumulative number of patients who have died is 01. The number of patients currently being treated is 225.

Regarding the outbreak at Minh An General Hospital, from July 26 to now, there have been 95 cases in 2 districts and towns, including: Quynh Luu District: 85 cases (in 10 communes); Hoang Mai Town: 10 cases (in 02 communes)...
