(Baonghean.vn) - Of these, 6 cases returned from Binh Duong and were quarantined immediately after returning to their locality.

On the afternoon of August 8, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed: In the past 12 hours (from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 8),Nghe Anrecorded 07 new positive cases of Covid-19. Of which, 06 cases returned from Binh Duong, 01 case related to Minh An General Hospital.

1. Patient HHM, male, born in 2007.Address: An Hoa Commune, Quynh Luu District. The patient is F1 of the previously announced BTK patient. On July 30, the patient was quarantined at An Hoa Primary School. On July 31, the patient's first sample was taken and the result was negative. On August 5, the patient's second sample was taken and the result was suspected positive. On August 7, the patient's third sample was taken and sent to Nghe An CDC, and on August 8, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. Patient VYM, female, born in 1989.Address: Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District. On August 1, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Que Phong. After returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. The patient was sampled twice before and both results were negative. On August 6, the patient was sampled a third time and the result was suspected positive. On August 7, the patient was sampled a fourth time and sent to CDC. On August 8, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. Patient VVL, male, born in 1992.Address: Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District. On July 30, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Que Phong. After returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. The patient was sampled twice before and both results were negative. On August 6, the patient was sampled a third time and the result was suspected positive. On August 7, the patient was sampled a fourth time and sent to CDC. On August 8, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. Patient TYH, female, born in 2020.Address: Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District. On August 1, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Que Phong. After returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. The patient was sampled twice before and both results were negative. On August 6, the patient was sampled a third time and the result was suspected positive. On August 7, the patient was sampled a fourth time and sent to CDC. On August 8, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

5. Patient VBT, male, born in 2000.Address: Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District. On August 1, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Que Phong. After returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. The patient was sampled twice before and both results were negative. On August 6, the patient was sampled a third time and the result was suspected positive. On August 7, the patient was sampled a fourth time and sent to CDC. On August 8, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

6. Patient TBS, male, born in 2003.Address: Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District. On August 1, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Que Phong. After returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. The patient was sampled twice before and both results were negative. On August 6, the patient was sampled a third time and the result was suspected positive. On August 7, the patient was sampled a fourth time and sent to CDC. On August 8, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

7. Patient VBM, male, born in 1997.Address: Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District. On August 1, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Que Phong. After returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. The patient was sampled twice before and both results were negative. On August 6, the patient was sampled a third time and the result was suspected positive. On August 7, the patient was sampled a fourth time and sent to CDC. On August 8, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Thus, up to now, the province has recorded376 Covid-19 patients in 19 localities: Quynh Luu: 99, Vinh City: 95, Yen Thanh: 28, Tuong Duong: 27, Dien Chau: 27, Ky Son: 14, Nghi Loc: 12, Hoang Mai: 11, Nam Dan: 10, Anh Son: 10, Do Luong: 08, Quy Hop: 07, Thanh Chuong: 06, Que Phong: 07, Nghia Dan: 04, Hung Nguyen: 03, Tan Ky: 04, Con Cuong: 03, Cua Lo: 01.

Regarding the Minh An General Hospital outbreak, from July 26 to now, there have been 89 cases in 2 districts, including: Quynh Luu: 80 cases (in 10 communes); Hoang Mai Town: 09 cases (in 02 communes).

Regarding cases from the Southern provinces returning to Nghe An since the beginning of the epidemic season until now, there have been 120 cases recorded, including 44 cases returning from Ho Chi Minh City; 61 cases returning from Binh Duong; 03 cases returning from Dong Nai; 02 cases returning from Binh Phuoc, 01 case returning from Long An, 09 long-distance drivers passing through (Can Tho: 02, Ho Chi Minh City: 01, Kon Tum: 01, Binh Dinh: 01, Da Nang: 01, Quang Ngai: 02, Thua Thien Hue: 01).
