Vietnam National Team Receives Great News Before Coach Park Hang Seo's Return

Hanoi FC coach joins Vietnam national team as assistant to coach Park Hang-seo

The Vietnam national team's coaching staff has a new member, the head coach of Hanoi FC, Mr. Park Choong-kyun.

The Vietnam Football Federation has confirmed that coach Park Choong-kyun will join the coaching staff of the Vietnam national team. The head coach of Hanoi FC will support coach Park Hang-seo in the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Asia.

Coach Park Choong-kyun came to Vietnam in April 2021 and signed a contract to become the head coach of Hanoi FC. However, the Korean coach only led the capital team for 2 matches before the V-League was suspended.

Hanoi FC and other V-League clubs will continue to be on break until February next year. Therefore, upon receiving an invitation from VFF and with Hanoi FC's consent, Coach Park Choong-kyun joined the coaching staff of the Vietnam national team.

When he was still a player, Mr. Park Choong-kyun had worked with Coach Park Hang-seo in the national team and U23 Korea. During the previous training session, the head coach of Hanoi FC also visited the training ground many times, standing outside to observe the training sessions of the Vietnamese team.

According to the plan, Coach Park Choong-kyun will be present and start working with the Vietnam team on August 12. A day earlier, Coach Park Hang-seo completed medical isolation and returned to direct instruction.

Why Chelsea signed Lukaku
