For many years now, the role of caring for workers has been specified by Nghia Dan Trade Union through many practical and effective programs. During Workers' Month 2021, Nghia Dan District Labor Federation supported the construction of a new "Union Shelter" house with a budget of 40 million VND; presented 115 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to workers in difficult circumstances; supported 4 million VND to 4 union members' families with special difficulties; presented 4 million VND to 7 union members' children with serious illnesses; visited workers in the boarding house and presented 21 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND; encouraged 8 workers at waste treatment companies in the area, each gift worth 300,000 VND; implemented the "Cool off the summer" program with 1,000 glasses of milk, 600 cups of sugarcane juice for workers...

During the 2021 Workers' Month, the District Labor Federation issued an official dispatch and promoted grassroots unions to mobilize union members and workers to actively participate in directly "rescuing" 90 tons of PQ tangerines (worth 1.5 billion VND) for union members and farmers in the district. Like many other activities, this activity has created a strong spread in the community. The images of sweaty faces rushing to make phone calls, transporting rescue goods, and the union green shirts not hesitating to work hard, donating and carrying relief goods for people in the Covid-19 epidemic area... have left a good impression.

In large enterprises, there is often interest and investment in improving technology - this is also an advantage of the Nghia Dan District Labor Federation. However, the difficulty of the District Labor Federation is that the majority of workers are not really interested in making commendation proposal documents, although the District Labor Federation regularly urges and guides. Explaining this, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang - Vice President of the Labor Union of Nghia Dan district said: "Some employees are afraid of wasting time, some direct employees only focus on practicing skills, improving expertise but are not proficient in drafting and accessing documents, so they encounter difficulties in the process of completing documents to submit for awards according to regulations. In addition, some business leaders and department heads are also worried about revealing the unit's invention secrets, some initiatives are the efforts and dedication of the entire department, but according to regulations, only the individual with the highest contribution rate is rewarded, causing difficulties and hindering the right rewards for the right subjects".

The District Labor Federation also regularly informs, exchanges, and proposes to business leaders to create conditions for workers to quickly apply and access technology, and boldly try new scientific and technical innovations...
In 2020, Nghia Dan district had 11 scientific and technical innovation initiatives of workers in the business sector that were proposed to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to award Certificates of Merit for Creative Labor with a total benefit value of nearly 20 billion VND.
