Hoang Mai Town fined over 100 million VND in 2 days of implementing Directive 16

Specifically, in the first 2 days of implementationDirective No.16, the police of wards and communes in Hoang Mai town have recorded and handled 53 cases, of which 10 cases were not wearing masks, 43 cases were going out when not necessary.

Pursuant to Point a, Clause 1, Article 12, Decree 117/2020/ND-CP on Regulations on administrative sanctions for violations in the health sector, the police of wards and communes have imposed a total fine of VND 102 million.

From June 13 to now, the province has recorded 876 Covid-19 patients in 21 localities, of which Hoang Mai Town: 20.

Implementing the Decision on social isolation according to Directive 16 to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic from 0:00 on August 20, Hoang Mai Town maintains 6 checkpoints for Covid-19 prevention and control at 6 border points between Hoang Mai Town and neighboring districts. In addition, checkpoints are maintained at National Highway 1A and National Highway 48D. Along with that, the town also established more than 200 checkpoints in 10 communes and wards to strictly control and strictly implement Directive 16, limiting people from traveling between checkpoints.
