Localities give gifts to poor households, support forces to prevent and fight Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 26, localities organized visits, gave gifts, and supported essential goods to help disadvantaged households in isolated and locked-down areas and forces participating in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province.

The delegation visited Nghe An Rehabilitation Nursing Hospital and Cua Lo Medical Center.
On behalf of the Town's leaders, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Secretary of the Town Party Committee presented each unit with 10 million VND and visited and encouraged the doctors and nurses who are working day and night to examine, treat, and screen Covid-19 patients in the community as well as in concentrated quarantine areas in the town. Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Covid-19 control posts in Cua Lo, each post with 5 million VND from the town's Covid-19 fund.
At the visited locations, the Secretary of the City Party Committee kindly inquired and hoped that the forces would overcome difficulties, actively stick to their posts, and perform well their assigned tasks, in order to contribute to limiting the spread of the epidemic.
It is known that since the implementation of social distancing according to Directive 16 until now (August 18, 2021 to August 26, 2021), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cua Lo town has received support from agencies, units, businesses, and benefactors in cash and necessities, worth nearly 400 million VND.
*Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Chau districtalong with a number of departments, branches and unions of Dien Chau presented necessities to near-poor and poor households in the medical isolation area of hamlet 10, Dien Yen and hamlets 12, 13 Dien Doai.

In two Catholic hamlets of Dang Cao and Dien Doai parishes, through Father Dinh Van Minh, the district Fatherland Front presented 27 gifts (including necessities for poor and near-poor households) and supported 100 kg of vegetables and fruits along with many drinks, instant noodles, soft drinks, milk... for poor and near-poor households in the area.
At Hamlet 10, Dien Yen, the delegation presented 32 gifts to poor and near-poor households, each worth 300,000 VND. This is also the area where 1/3 of the people follow the religion of Yen Ly parish. Along with that, the district Fatherland Front visited, encouraged and supported with drinks, milk... at the checkpoints of Dien Yen and Dien Doai.
This is the number of necessities launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support many organizations and individuals to join hands towards people in medical quarantine areas, to ensure life, food and food as well as join hands to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic in the district./.
