At noon on August 26th, the leaders of the Department of HealthNghe AnThe People's Committee of Vinh City met with, commended, and expressed its deep gratitude to the delegation from the health sector.Ha TinhThey provided reinforcements and assistance to Vinh City, Nghe An Province, in combating the Covid-19 epidemic before the delegation returned to their hometown.
At the request of the health departments of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, the Ha Tinh Department of Health sent a working group of 152 officials and staff to Nghe An to support Vinh City in carrying out a large-scale community testing campaign to prevent and control Covid-19.

This is a highly skilled and experienced team of epidemic control officers who have repeatedly carried out Covid-19 testing sample collection tasks in Ha Tinh province.
During the three days of supporting Vinh City, under the direction of the Nghe An Department of Health, 152 medical staff from Ha Tinh went directly to neighborhoods and residential areas to collect samples for testing from residents.
As a result, the team collected test samples from over 22,000 people in 6,500 households across 50 neighborhoods in 4 wards…and successfully completed the assigned task.

After returning to their home province, the 152 medical staff will undergo testing and self-isolate at home for 7 days before returning to their respective units to continue their duties in disease prevention and control and healthcare for the people.
