Provincial Military Command draws experience in Covid-19 prevention and control

Given the extremely complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province, recently,Provincial Military Commandand units across the province's armed forces have mobilized 1,350 officers, soldiers and 3,322 militiamen to perform tasks at 660 epidemic prevention and control checkpoints and 767 centralized quarantine points across the province. Coordinate with the Department of Health to deploy Field Hospitals No. 4, 5, 6 in Cua Lo town at ARMY hotels (270 beds), Audit hotel (250 beds) and Trade Union hotel (450 beds). At the same time, continue to survey and deploy the construction of Field Hospital No. 7 of the Provincial Military Command, expected to have about 600 beds. Conduct rapid Covid-19 screening tests for 100% of officers, employees and soldiers. The results were 100% negative.

As of 6:00 p.m. on September 4, the Provincial Military Command has advised and organized 37 provincial quarantine points, received nearly 20,000 citizens for centralized quarantine, completed quarantine for nearly 19,300 citizens to ensure absolute safety (including nearly 17,000 citizens returning from China, Laos, Cambodia through land border gates; 472 citizens returning from Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces and cities), currently quarantining 204 citizens.
