Vinh City requires random testing of workers in industrial parks

September 12 evening,Vinh City People's Committeeissued Plan No. 207/KH-UBND on the implementation of Decision No. 3327/QD-UBND, dated September 12, 2021 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on adjusting measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in Vinh city. Accordingly, factories, enterprises, and industrial parks are required to implement the following contents. Including:

1.Strictly implement and fully deploy the Covid-19 epidemic prevention plan of enterprises according to regulations.

2.Officials, employees, and workers sign a commitment to implement Covid-19 epidemic prevention work for employers.

3.Every 7 daystestrandomly to 20% of the unit's employees.

4.Strictly manage and control information of workers outside the city working in industrial parks, industrial clusters, factories, and enterprises to ensure the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic.

5.For cadres, workers, and experts from outside the area entering/exiting to work in Vinh city, the following must be done:

- Enterprises are allowed to organize transportation of workers outside the city to work at the company by car. Implement well the content of "1 route, 2 destinations". Do not let staff and workers travel by personal vehicle into the city. -

The car transporting workers must have a badge "VEHICLE TRANSPORTING STAFF (SPECIALISTS) WORKERS OF THE COMPANY.........WORKING AT THE FACTORY..........."

- Require officers and workers to present:

+ List of drivers, officers, workers, and experts transported on the vehicle signed and stamped by the head (or authorized person) of the factory or company.

+ Identity documents (ID card/CCCD)

+ Negative rapid test/PCR test certificate valid for 72 hours. - Encourage implementation of "3 on-site" (production, eating and resting on-site) to ensure production.

- Workers showing signs of fever, cough, etc. will be tested and quarantined according to regulations. * For workers residing in the city, they are allowed to travel to the workplace by personal vehicle.

6.Workers are required to strictly follow the "5K" as recommended by the Ministry of Health. All workers must have their temperature measured, disinfected and wear masks when entering work. At the same time, they must make mandatory health declarations at medical centers or electronically at the website http://tokhaiyte.vn.

7.Businesses continue to strictly manage workers and organize production in a distanced manner, reasonably assigning labor to each shift to ensure that there are no too many people gathering.

8.Resolutely stop production activities if safety in disease prevention and control is not ensured. Closely coordinate with the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial clusters to monitor disease prevention and control work.

9.Propose that the province direct priority to vaccinate workers and laborers working at enterprises and production facilities with large numbers and high concentration.

The city assigned Task Force No. 5 to strengthen the inspection of epidemic prevention and control solutions at factories, enterprises, and production facilities in the city. Any enterprise that does not meet the requirements will be proposed to the City's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee to temporarily suspend operations.
