At Thai Thuong Hoang Hospital on Nguyen Sy Sach Street, from early morning, many people came to get tested. To meet the increasing demand, the hospital set up a reception counter and a table to record the results right in the yard and on the sidewalk of Nguyen Sy Sach Street.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuan (residing in Gia Lach town, Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh), and working in Vinh city, said: After Vinh city ended the quarantine according to Directive 16 and switched to social distancing according to Directive 15, I thought I could go through the checkpoints normally, but I didn't expect to have to have a negative test result certificate, so I had to run here to get tested. If I get the result, I will run back to my hometown immediately, because I haven't been home for a month.
Sharing the same fate as Mr. Tuan, many truck drivers carrying goods and construction materials also had to queue up to wait for Covid-19 testing. Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang (living in Truong Thi ward), who was tested at Vinh City General Hospital, shared: I specialize in transporting construction materials from Nam Dan and Thanh Chuong districts to gather for agents in Vinh City. This morning, the agents called to transport the materials. When I drove up to the checkpoint in Hung Chinh commune, I found out that I had to have a negative Covid-19 test result to pass. When I arrived, I saw a lot of people.
According to our records, although it was past 12 noon, at the testing sites there were still many people waiting for their turn to get a rapid test and receive results.
