Covid prevention checkpoint officer finds wallet and returns it to owner

(Baonghean.vn) - Discovering a wallet containing a large amount of money and many important personal documents, the epidemic control task force quickly verified and returned the property to the person who lost it.

Morning of September 16, atCovid-19 epidemic control checkpoint, on Pham Hong Thai Street intersecting with Vinh bypass (Vinh City), a working group consisting of Major Nguyen Thanh Son, Senior Lieutenant Ho Hai Luan (Traffic Police - Information Team of Vinh City Police) and Major Nguyen Dinh Thai of Regiment 764, Nghe An Province Military Command were on duty when they picked up a wallet on the side of the road. Upon inspection, it was discovered that inside there were 12,550,000 VND and many other personal documents.

The working group then conducted verification and directly contacted the wallet owner, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong (born in 1986), residing in Mai Son district, Son La province. Mr. Cuong said that while traveling from Hung Nguyen district (Nghe An) to Vinh city for work, he lost his wallet.

After arriving at work, he checked his pocket and found that his wallet was gone, so he was very worried. At that moment, he received information that the comrades on duty at the checkpoint reported that they had picked up Mr. Cuong's wallet, so he was very happy.
