Prosecution of same-age couple for loan sharking

Previously, through the work of grasping the local situation, Hoang Mai Town Police discovered a number of subjects showing signs of being involved in usury in civil transactions. After conducting verification, the Town Police collected evidence and decided to establish a special project to focus on fighting this crime in the area.
During the investigation and verification process, Hoang Mai Town Police identified Thai Binh Chinh as an unemployed person, with many complicated relationships and many unclear signs about time and economy. Further verification revealed that from October 2020 to present, Thai Binh Chinh often lends money to people who need to borrow money quickly, need money urgently... with interest rates from 3,000 VND to 5,000 VND/million/day.

After a period of collecting documents and evidence, on September 13, 2021, at Thai Binh Chinh's private home in Phu Loi 2 block, Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town, the town police broke the case and successfully arrested the subject. At the scene, the police seized VND 889,950,000, 3 motorbikes, 2 mobile phones and many documents related to loan transactions.
Expanding the investigation, on September 16, 2021, the Investigation Police Agency of Hoang Mai Town Police arrested Luu Thi Thuy (born in 1986), residing in Phu Loi 2 block, Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town for the act of loan sharking in civil transactions. Thuy is Chinh's wife.
Currently, the Town Police are temporarily detaining the subjects, prosecuting the case, prosecuting the accused, initially clarifying the loan amount of over 3 billion VND, illegal profits of over 400 million VND. Currently, the Special Case is being further investigated and expanded to strictly handle according to the provisions of the law.
