(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 29, in Con Cuong district, Nghe An Department of Tourism organized a seminar and signed a cooperation agreement on developing eco-tourism associated with protecting and developing forests in ethnic minority areas within the framework of the GEF project.

Attending the seminar were representatives of the Department of Tourism, the GEF SPG Project Management Board (Global Environment Facility), the Provincial Tourism Association; representatives of relevant departments and sectors, tourism experts; businesses operating in the tourism sector and leaders of Con Cuong and Tuong Duong districts along with units and households benefiting from projects funded by GEF.

The seminar aims to review the models that have been implemented within the framework of the GEF SPG project approval in the past; consult with tourism businesses to improve products and services.
