Contacting Vi Anh Tuan, a 9th grader living in Tan Hop village, Luc Da commune, we learned that Tuan has been visiting his older siblings in Phuoc Binh commune, Phuoc Long district (Binh Phuoc) since May 29 and has not been able to return yet. Tuan's older siblings work for a cashew farm in Binh Phuoc, while his parents are at home and are very worried about his studies as he enters his final year of high school.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hao - Principal of Luc Da Secondary School said: Currently, in addition to 1 student whose parents went to Thai An Hospital (Vinh City) for treatment and had direct contact with him, so he has to be quarantined at home, there are 8 students in the South who have not been able to return to school. The school has also assigned homeroom teachers to keep track of the list and organize online classes for the students to keep up with the program. When the students return and the quarantine period is over, they will gradually be tutored before returning to class.

Faced with the fact that there are still many students who cannot return to school, the Department has also sent a document to the Department of Education and Training of 62 provinces and cities nationwide, requesting that other units support and help Nghe An students during the time they are stuck due to the Covid-19 epidemic. In Nghe An, in the recent past, when many localities had to isolate society according to Directive 16, there were about 2,000 students in the provinces in quarantine areas who could not return to school. The Department has also planned to organize temporary study for them, to get acquainted if their families and students have a need. Particularly for Nghe An students who cannot return to school at present, the Department has also directed the Department of Education and Training of districts and affiliated units to closely monitor, organize online teaching, provide documents and lectures for them to help them grasp knowledge, so that after returning, they can catch up with the program immediately.
