Nghe An Department of Health leaders request to close loopholes in the tracing process in Cua Lo Town
(Baonghean.vn) - Working with Cua Lo town and Nghi Loc district, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh requested that localities continue to do better in management and plugging loopholes in the tracing process.
On the morning of October 1, after recording 8 more cases of community Covid-19 infection in Cua Lo, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center, Director of the Department of Health had a meeting with the leaders of Cua Lo town and Nghi Loc district. Also attending were leaders of the Nghe An Center for Disease Control (CDC).
The epidemic is complicated
According to the report ofCua Lo town, immediately after the Covid-19 positive cases appeared, the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center of the town promptly isolated, locked down, and conducted rapid tests on all households in Hai Giang 2 block, Nghi Hai ward, and traders related to Ben Ca market and Dong Trang market. Thereby, 12 cases with positive results were detected in Nghi Hai ward (11 people) and Nghi Hoa ward (1 person).

At the same time, focus on investigation,tracesubjects related to F0 to quarantine, take samples for testing, set up checkpoints in Nghi Hai ward. Blockade the entire block 4, Nghi Hoa ward, test 12 students related to F0 in Nghi Hai and get negative results.
Through preliminary investigation and tracing, as of the morning of October 1, there were 318 F1; 422 F2. Currently, Cua Lo town is strongly directing the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures, zoning, isolation, minimizing the risk of widespread spread and outbreak.

Plugging loopholes in the investigation and tracing process
In his speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh acknowledged the drastic and timely direction of the leaders of Cua Lo town, Nghi Hai and Nghi Hoa wards and the awareness of prevention and control.Covid-19 epidemicof the people in the area. In order to make the epidemic prevention and control work more effective, limit and prevent positive cases in the community, Cua Lo town needs to urgently and better implement the investigation, tracing and isolation of subjects related to epidemiological factors. Because most of the positive cases announced on September 30 and the morning of October 1 were discovered in the community, because people came to the facility to request testing, these cases are all related to the outbreak in Hai Giang 2 block.
