(Baonghean.vn) - The provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee requires that traders and people who do not comply with regulations are not allowed to enter the market. If epidemic prevention requirements are not met, the market will be resolutely stopped.

On September 30, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 23 on continuing to strengthen epidemic prevention and control work in the new situation.

According to the provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee, at the end of September, the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the province was under control, and localities had switched to implementing Directive 19. However, on September 29, through random screening tests, a number of Covid-19 infections were detected in the community in Cua Lo town and Nghi Loc district, with a high risk of Covid-19 spreading again, especially through activities at traditional markets, fishing ports, food service businesses, and freight transport.

To maintain the achievements in Covid-19 prevention and control in the new state of "safe and flexible adaptation, effective control of Covid-19", the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control requests the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center, agencies and units in the province, and Steering Committees for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directives issued by the Central Government and the province. In particular, pay attention to performing the following tasks:

Regarding the management of markets, restaurants, and eateries, it is necessary to strictly and thoroughly implement epidemic prevention and control measures at markets according to regulations, especially health declarations, control of people entering and leaving the market, and traders. If the requirements for epidemic prevention and control are not met, the market must be resolutely stopped; traders and people who do not comply with regulations are not allowed to enter the market.

In addition, management must be strengthened to prevent the formation of spontaneous sales points and large crowds outside the market area; strictly prohibiting business and eating on the sidewalk. Require restaurant and eatery owners to sign a commitment with local authorities to comply with and implement epidemic prevention and control measures according to regulations.

Regarding testing and screening, periodic random testing and Covid-19 screening tests must be conducted according to the instructions of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center in Official Dispatch No. 4620 dated September 26. Regularly inspect and supervise the organization of testing according to regulations. Encourage people to self-test to protect the health of themselves, their families and the community.

The provincial Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control command center is responsible for directing the provincial police, the Department of Transport and related units to strengthen effective and safe control of people and road vehicles passing through and entering the province and intra-provincial traffic activities.

Localities should strengthen propaganda to raise people's vigilance and promote the role of monitoring and providing information on violations of regulations. Strengthen inspection and handling of responsibilities of Party committees, authorities, agencies, units and leaders who are still subjective and have not strictly implemented the direction on Covid-19 prevention and control.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control also requires cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers in agencies and units of the political system at all levels to be exemplary in signing commitments and implementing regulations and tasks of Covid-19 prevention and control, especially in public activities.
