Injured 2 relatives due to land division conflict
Due to a conflict over land division, two brothers used machetes and homemade knives to slash two relatives, seriously injuring one.
Speaking with CAND Newspaper reporters on the evening of October 1, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thanh Tam - Head of the Criminal Police Department of Phu Yen Provincial Police confirmed that this agency had just issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Nguyen Duc Dam (born in 1986, residing in Quarter 3, Phu Thanh Ward, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province) for murder.

Previously, at around 4:30 p.m. on September 30, Mr. Huynh Bong (born in 1928, residing in Quarter 3, Phu Thanh Ward, Tuy Hoa City) with his son Huynh Ngoc Khanh (born in 1980) and grandson Huynh Le Thanh Quang (born in 2006) went to the field owned by Mr. Bong to divide the land for his son and two grandchildren, Nguyen Duc Thoi (born in 1984) and Nguyen Duc Dam (born in 1986).
Due to disagreement in land divisionconflict, quarreled and fought with each other between Khanh and Dam, Thoi and Dam brothers entered the house to get machetes and homemade knives to chase Khanh. While running to another place to take refuge, Khanh tripped and fell, so Thoi and Dam slashed him in the head, causing the victim to suffer a traumatic brain injury and subdural hematoma; Khanh's son, Huynh Le Thanh Quang, also suffered a slash wound on his right shoulder.
Along with the prosecution and temporary detention of Nguyen Duc Dam as approved by the People's Procuracy of Phu Yen province, the Investigation Police Agency of Phu Yen province is continuing to clarify Nguyen Duc Thoi's behavior to strictly handle him according to the law./.
