Voters recommend evaluating the policy of merging administrative units at commune and district levels

Continuing the program of meeting voters before the 2nd session of the 15th National Assembly, on the morning of October 5, National Assembly deputies: Pham Phu Binh - Standing member of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union had a meeting with voters of 6 communes: Dong Thanh, Kim Thanh, Quang Thanh, Tay Thanh, Hung Thanh, Phuc Thanh (Yen Thanh district).

Voter Phan Duc Cuong (Tay Thanh commune) requested the National Assembly and the Government to re-evaluate the results of policy implementation.mergercommune-level administrative units, from which to propose policies and roadmaps for merging commune-level and district-level administrative units for the next phase so that localities can be proactive.
In addition, the National Assembly and the Government are recommended to study the reform of the salary regime for grassroots cadres, ensuring motivation and commensurate with the work investment of this force; study to remove the shortcomings of the "post" hamlet merger policy.

Regarding agricultural development, voter Nguyen Duc Cong (Dong Thanh commune) pointed out the fact that in recent times, people's livestock and poultry farming has lacked sustainability due to continuous outbreaks of diseases such as blue ear disease, African swine fever, and avian influenza. He proposed that the National Assembly and the Government have solutions to promote research and application of science and technology in the field of veterinary medicine and disease prevention and control in livestock, ensuring more sustainable development of the livestock industry, creating stable income for farmers.
Voter Thai Huy Dai (Dong Thanh commune) reflected that the situation of agricultural products imported from abroad into the Vietnamese market is quite large, while the products produced by farmers are difficult to sell, although the quality of the products is applied with clean production processes, VietGAP. It is recommended that the authorities have stronger solutions in the output problem for Vietnamese agricultural products.

Another issue that voters are interested in is the rate of environmental fee regulation for mineral exploitation projects and the amount of mineral exploitation rights fee that needs to be increased for localities where mining activities occur to support the people.
The issue that many voters are concerned about is the implementation of support policies for those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic according to Resolution 68/NQ-CP and Decision No. 22/2021/QD-UBND No. 23/2021/QD-TTg, which is still inadequate.
According to voter Nguyen Thi Ke (Dong Thanh commune), the specific subjects eligible for policies according to the regulations of the Provincial People's Committee for the porter profession in rural areas such as the profession of carrying glue and carrying rice have not been mentioned; or the regulations on the profession of bricklayers and builders, there are some similar jobs such as painters and electricians that are not regulated.

Some voters recommended that the province should have policies to support localities in building advanced new rural areas; have policies to change the crop structure on forestry land, and improve land use efficiency.
In addition, it is necessary to continue to promote administrative procedure reform in granting land use right certificates to people; invest in and renovate rural power grids to meet the demand for electricity and especially ensure people's lives; the National Assembly and the Government need to take measures to remove obstacles and resolve the regime for meritorious people who have lost their documents...

After the reflection, recommendations and proposals of voters, representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and a number of provincial departments and branches: Agriculture - Rural Development, Natural Resources - Environment, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Yen Thanh district leaders received and directly explained issues under their authority.
