(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 6, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command held an urgent meeting to deploy plans to welcome citizens returning from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces.

On 5-6/10/2021,Nghe An Provincial Military Commandhas received 1,446 citizens returning from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces. Currently, 3,286 citizens are being quarantined at 10 locations. It is expected that today, 2 quarantine locations at ARMY Hotel and Cua Lo Town Audit Hotel will continue to receive 550 citizens. Up to now, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command has mobilized thousands of officers, soldiers and militia and self-defense forces to perform tasks at 48 checkpoints and 256 centralized quarantine areas.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Pham Van Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command - Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: In the coming time, there will be a large number of citizens from Ho Chi Minh City, the southern provinces and citizens who have completed quarantine in the provinces under Military Region 2 and Military Region 3 returning to Nghe An province; accordingly, agencies and units throughout the provincial military need to coordinate well with departments, branches and localities to grasp the situation in the area; continue to survey, select, expand and organize more reception and centralized quarantine points.
In addition, continue to strictly maintain epidemic prevention and control measures; request to ensure the best epidemic prevention and control work for forces participating in performing tasks on the front line.
