(Baonghean.vn) - Knowing that the item was contraband and not clothes, but out of respect for her husband's friend, Be still accepted to help Binh store nearly 100 kilograms of firecrackers at her house.

On October 13, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency said that the unit had just coordinated with the Cua Lo Town Police to discover and arrest Dang Thai Binh (born in 1985), residing in Hong Thinh hamlet, Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, and Tran Thi Be (born in 1980), residing in Bac Kim Hoa hamlet, Nghi Thuan commune, Nghi Loc district, for storing, transporting, and trading in prohibited goods, namely firecrackers.

Previously, in early October 2021, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency put Dang Thai Binh and Tran Thi Be in their "crosshairs" to verify and clarify the information that Binh colluded with Be to bring firecrackers from Dien Chau district to Nghi Loc district to hide and wait for an opportunity to sell.

Combining relevant documents between Cua Lo Town Police and Nghi Loc District Police, the leaders of the two units sent a working group to invite Tran Thi Be to Nghi Thuan Commune headquarters for questioning.

Initially, Tran Thi Be was evasive and denied. However, through professional measures and collected documents, the subject was forced to confess her actions and at the same time asked to hand over the fireworks that Dang Thai Binh sent to her house. The investigation agency proceeded to draw up a record to receive the person who committed the crime.surrenderSeized evidence including 100 mortars, total weight 89.1 kg.

Tran Thi Be stated: Binh and the suspect's husband were business partners in Laos. When her husband called and told Binh to send some clothes, Be agreed. Later, she discovered that the items her husband's friend sent were not as stated but firecrackers. But out of respect, Be did not object.

Currently, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency is continuing to investigate and expand the case.
