Blockade of 25 households in Ben Thuy ward (Vinh city) related to new Covid-19 infection case

Afternoon of October 18,Nghe An6 new Covid-19 infections were recorded, including 1 community case in Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city.

After receiving the test results, Ben Thuy ward blocked off lane 1, Pham Thi Tao street (where the patient lives) with a total of 25 households and 52 people, and took samples of all residents in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Huan - Chairman of People's CommitteeBen Thuy wardsaid: "This new patient works as a Shipper, with a complicated travel schedule. According to the initial investigation and tracing, 25 F1s have been identified, of which 17 F1s are employees of the same company as this patient..."

It is known that Vinh City has strict regulations on managing shippers in the area and has deployed Covid-19 vaccination for about 1,500 shippers of businesses.

Patient P.D.T, male, born in 2000. Address: Block 3, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City. On October 16, the patient had symptoms of fever, sore throat, fatigue, bought medicine at home but did not get better. On the morning of October 18, the patient went to Trung Do Ward Health Station for examination and was tested rapidly with a positive result. Immediately after that, the patient was isolated at the Health Station and had a sample sent to the CDC for testing. On the afternoon of October 18, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient was vaccinated with 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
