(Baonghean.vn) - The Financial Times (FT) quoted several sources as saying that "the Chinese military launched a hypersonic missile" in August and assessed it as "a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile".
According to an article published by the FT on October 16, the missile “has flown through low-orbit space” and could help China “negate” US missile defense systems designed to target ballistic missiles on fixed parabolic trajectories. The Chinese military’s progress has “taken US intelligence by surprise.”
