On October 18, the Investigation Police Agency of Tam Binh District Police (Vinh Long) prosecuted and banned Vo Ngoc Tin (born 2001, residing in Phu Loc Commune, Tam Binh District) from leaving his place of residence to investigate the act of intentionallyinjure.

According to the investigation results, on the evening of June 2, Tin went to eat noodles in My Loc commune. At that time, Nguyen Khanh Nguyen (born 2003, also living in My Loc commune) was drinking with two friends at the restaurant. The two knew each other, so Nguyen invited Tin to drink with him.
Tin refused and said Nguyen was lying; then he hit Nguyen on the head with a beer bottle, then took a knife and slashed the victim. After committing the crime, Tin left. Nguyen was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment, with a 46% injury.
