Cumulative number of patients who have recovered and been discharged from hospital: 1,932 patients. Cumulative number of patients who have died: 19 patients. Number of patients currently being treated: 277 patients.

* The total number of citizens returning from the southern provinces from October 1 to present is 21,911. 241 positive cases were detected (238 new infections, 3 re-positive cases). Of which: the number of patients who have received 2 doses of vaccine: 40; the number of patients who have received 1 dose of vaccine: 106; the number of patients who have not been vaccinated: 95.

* Regarding testing: In the past 12 hours, 1,661 samples were received. Results have been received for 1,519 samples, 11 positive cases were detected, and 142 samples are awaiting results.

* Specific information of the new positive patient is as follows:

1.HBV patient, male, born in 1967. Occupation: Driver. Address: Block 1, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City. The patient is a long-distance driver from Ho Chi Minh City to Nghe An. On October 13, the patient was tested rapidly and the result was negative. On October 18, the patient drove from Nghe An to Ho Chi Minh City to pick up goods. On October 22, the patient drove from Ho Chi Minh City to Nghe An. On October 23, the patient made a medical declaration and was tested rapidly and the result was positive. Immediately after that, the patient's sample was sent to the CDC, and on the morning of October 24, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient has been vaccinated with 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

2.Patient BCBC, female, born in 2019Address: Block 13, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City. The patient is F1 of the previously announced PHTA patient. On October 20, the patient was quarantined and sampled with negative results. On October 23, the patient's second sample was sent to the CDC, and on the evening of October 23, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. Patient CTT, female, born in 1992Address: Block 13, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City. The patient is F1 and the mother of the BCBC patient announced at the same time. On October 19, the patient was quarantined and sampled with negative results. On October 23, the patient's second sample was sent to the CDC, and on the morning of October 24, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. Patient BTHH, female, born in 1999.Address: Block 13, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City. The patient is F1 of the previously announced NTML patient. On October 19, the patient was quarantined and sampled for suspicious results. On October 23, the patient's second sample was sent to the CDC, and on the morning of October 24, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

5. Patient PMT, male, born in 2012Address: Block 13, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City. The patient is F1 and is the younger brother of the previously announced PHTA patient. On October 20, the patient was quarantined and sampled with negative results. On October 23, the patient's second sample was sent to the CDC, and on the evening of October 23, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

6. Patient HTN, female, born in 1980Address: Block 13, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City. The patient is F1 and the mother of the previously announced PHTA patient. On October 20, the patient was quarantined and sampled with negative results. On October 23, the patient's second sample was sent to the CDC, and on the evening of October 23, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

7. Patient D.QT, male, born in 1976.Address: Tien Loc Hamlet, Hung Loc Commune, Vinh City. The patient is F1 and is the father of patient Đ.TD who was previously announced. On October 18, the patient was admitted to Field Hospital No. 3 for isolation to take care of his child, patient Đ.TD, and his sample was taken for testing with a negative result. On October 22, the patient's second sample was sent to the Provincial General Hospital with a confirmed positive result for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient has been vaccinated with 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

8. Patient HTA, female, born in 1953. Address: Quang Tien Commune, Thai Hoa Town. The patient is F1 of the previously announced LTD patient and TKTY patient. On October 22, the patient was quarantined at the old Long Son Commune Health Station and the sample was taken and the result was negative. On October 23, the patient had symptoms of fever and cough and the sample was sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the evening of October 23, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient has been vaccinated with 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

9. Patient DVT, male, born in 2007. Address: Long Tien Hamlet, Thanh Long Commune, Thanh Chuong District. The patient returned to Thanh Chuong District from Binh Duong Province on October 16. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined and had a sample taken with a negative result. On October 23, the patient had a second sample taken and sent to the CDC, on the evening of October 23, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

10. Patient NTPN, female, born in 2020Address: Nam Son Commune, Do Luong District. The patient is F1 and is the grandchild of patient NTT who returned from Binh Duong Province and was previously announced. On October 20, the patient was admitted to Field Hospital No. 3 for quarantine with his grandmother, patient NTT, and the sample was taken and the result was negative. On October 22, the patient's second sample was taken and sent to the Provincial General Hospital and the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

11. Patient HTT, female, born in 1985. Address: Dien Trung Commune, Dien Chau District. The patient is F1 and is the mother of patient NTA who returned from Binh Duong Province and was previously announced. On October 18, the patient went to Field Hospital No. 3 to take care of her child, patient NTA, and the test result was negative. On October 22, the patient's second sample was sent to the Provincial General Hospital and the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient has been vaccinated with 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
