Nghe An Field Hospital No. 8 officially receives Covid-19 patients
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 25, Nghe An Field Hospital No. 8 officially came into operation, receiving Covid-19 patients for treatment.

Nghe An Field Hospital No. 8 is located in Area B of the General Friendship Hospital.Nghe An; has a capacity of 1,000 beds. The hospital was established on October 15, 2021 under Decision No. 3807/QD-UBND of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, the Hospital will receive, screen, isolate, provide emergency care, care, monitor and treat suspected and confirmed cases.Covid-19mild and moderate levels in the province.

Previously, Nghe An province organized survey teams to requisition area B of Nghe An General Hospital, complete facilities, invest in machinery, equipment, and mobilize human resources.
On October 24, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision 3917/QD-UBND on the implementation of the Nghe An Field Hospital No. 8 to treat Covid-19 patients. At exactly 6:00 a.m. on October 25, Field Hospital No. 8 received its first Covid-19 patient.
Nghe An Field Hospital No. 8 is currently under the management of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital with 44 medical staff and employees performing duties here.
The operation of Field Hospital No. 8 with a large scale has partly resolved the concern of overload due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province. As of the morning of October 25, the whole province currently has 286 Covid-19 patients being treated.
