Vinh City adjusts epidemic level, Hung Loc commune becomes red zone

(Baonghean.vn) - Hung Loc commune changed its status from orange zone to red zone, while Ha Huy Tap and Trung Do wards also changed from yellow zone to orange zone.

On the morning of October 28, Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu - Vice Chairwoman of Vinh City People's Committee said that due to the complicated developments of the epidemic in recent days, the city has decided to change the epidemic level in some localities.

Accordingly, Hung Loc commune moved from level 3 to level 4 (red zone, very high risk). Ha Huy Tap ward and Trung Do ward moved from level 2 to level 3 (corresponding to risk zone to high risk zone). Truong Thi ward also moved from level 1 to level 2.

Hung Loc Commune has a population of 20,000 and is the eastern gateway to Vinh City. Since October 15, the commune has recorded 36 cases, most of which were detected through community screening and screening in the locked-down area. Thus, this is the only locality in Nghe An that is at level 4.

According to Resolution 128 of the Government, at level 4, service businesses such as supermarkets, shopping malls, convenience stores, wholesale markets, etc. must limit their operations. If necessary, the provincial People's Committee shall regulate the number of buyers and sellers at the same time. Provinces and cities shall regulate the conditions for restaurants, eateries, and traditional markets to operate, including limiting the number of buyers and sellers at the same time.


Services that must be suspended include: dance halls, karaoke, massage, bars, internet, video games, hairdressing, beauty salons; street vendors, lottery ticket vendors; religious, belief and worship establishments; museums, exhibitions, cinemas; cultural, artistic, physical education and sports performance venues.

People limit movement between areas with different epidemic levels.

The fields that operate at all 4 levels include: Circulation, transportation of goods within the province, inter-province; production facilities, projects, traffic works, construction.

Shopping malls, supermarkets, convenience stores, wholesale markets; restaurants, eateries, and traditional markets are open at all 4 levels, but are more restricted at level 4.

The above regulations are applied uniformly nationwide. Localities may add additional measures, but they must not be contrary to the regulations of the Central Government; they must not cause congestion in the circulation of goods, production, business, travel and daily life of the people.

Previously, on October 21, the People's Committee of Nghe An province announced that the epidemic level of Nghe An province was level 2. At the district level, localities at level 2 include Vinh city, Hung Nguyen district and Nam Dan district; level 1 is the remaining 18 districts and towns.
At the commune level, level 3 is Hung Loc commune (Vinh city); level 2 includes Trung Do, Ha Huy Tap, Vinh Tan, Ben Thuy, Hung Binh wards (Vinh city), Chau Nhan commune (Hung Nguyen), Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan); level 1 includes the remaining 452 communes, wards and towns./.
