Blockade of 218 households in Nghi Loc related to 3 F0 cases in the community

Afternoon of October 28,Nghe An18 new Covid-19 infections were recorded, including 3 community cases in Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district.

Mr. Vo Trong Tinh - Chairman of Nghi Trung Commune People's Committee said: Immediately after receiving the test results, following the direction of the province and Nghi Loc district, the locality locked down the entire hamlet 5 in the area with a total of 218 households and 750 people, while spraying disinfectants and taking samples for testing from people in the area.

The epidemiological investigation showed that these 3 patients had not traveled outside the area in the past, however, they had contact with many people in the neighborhood, especially attending the festival on October 20. Currently, the locality has also identified 142 F1 of these 3 F0.

It is known that,Nghi Trung communeF1 cases were quarantined at 3 locations, specifically: Nghi Trung Kindergarten including F1 cases in hamlet 3; the old Nghi Loc District Military Command including 52 F1 cases in hamlet 5; Nghi Trung Secondary School including 41 students and 8 teachers who are F1 of patient NHNK

1. PTO,female, born 1973Address: Hamlet 5, Nghi Trung Commune, Nghi Loc District. On October 27, the patient had symptoms of fever, sore throat, and fatigue, so he went to the Medical Station for examination and was tested rapidly with positive results. Immediately after that, the patient's sample was taken and sent to Cua Dong General Hospital, and on the morning of October 28, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. BN NTL,female, born 1975Address: Hamlet 5, Nghi Trung Commune, Nghi Loc District. On October 27, after the PTO patient had a positive rapid test result, the patient was tested for community screening with a positive result. Immediately after that, the patient's sample was sent to Cua Dong General Hospital, and on the morning of October 28, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. BN NHNK,male, born 2009Address: Hamlet 5, Nghi Trung Commune, Nghi Loc District. The patient is the child of patient NTL who was announced at the same time. On October 27, after the mother, patient NTL, had a positive rapid test result, the patient's sample was taken and sent to Cua Dong General Hospital. On the morning of October 28, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
