Vietnam national football team may train in Ba Ria Vung Tau to prepare for AFF Cup

As planned, the Vietnamese team will have a training trip in Ba Ria Vung Tau city, where the climate is quite similar to Singapore, to practice from November 19 to 30, before going to the Lion Island to play the first match against Laos on December 6.

AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 will take place from December 5, 2021 to January 1, 2022.

In addition, with the support of the majority of votes, Singapore was chosen to host the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 instead of Thailand. This tournament will be held at three locations including Singapore National Stadium, Bishan Stadium and Jalan Besar. Quang Ninh Coal is not allowed to participate in V.League 2022

Recently, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) decided not to grant an exception for Than Quang Ninh Club to participate in V.League 2022.

Currently, most of the players have left Than Quang Ninh to find new destinations. For example, Nghiem Xuan Tu and Mac Hong Quan joined Binh Dinh, Duong Van Khoa joined Ho Chi Minh City Club. Hai Huy received a deposit from Ho Chi Minh City Club but at the last minute wanted to "turn around" and join Hai Phong.

The document clearly stated that Than Quang Ninh Club did not meet the mandatory licensing criteria on the online licensing system in 2021, including: Criteria for facilities and stadiums to host AFC and Vietnam Football Federation club tournaments. Regarding financial criteria, there were no overdue refunds to employees, tax authorities, and social organizations.

At the end of August, Than Quang Ninh Club officially ceased operations and waited for the team to be transferred to Quang Ninh province. Chairman Pham Thanh Hung sent a request to the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Ninh to stop the operations of Quang Ninh Football One Member Co., Ltd. (the team's management unit), and wrote a request to return the team to the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.
