In recent days, Vietnam Social Security has received information from a number of people about receiving text messages with the prefix 052... notifying them of receiving subsidies from the Unemployment Insurance Fund for workers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic with the content "You have not received the Covid-19 subsidy yet, please log in to tinyurl.com/kxytdc8z (or shorturl.at/frFHU) to get it, after the deadline it will not be accepted".
Before the above incident,Vietnam Social Securityaffirmed that the above message was from a scammer, taking advantage of information about support policies for workers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic fromUnemployment Insurance Fundfor profit or to obtain personal information and hack people's accounts. The Social Security Agency does not send any messages with the above content.

Vietnam Social Security warns that employees should not trust any messages that do not have the words "BHXHVN" or "BHXH HA NOI" (other localities nationwide will have a similar name to Hanoi Social Security) displayed in the phone number of the sender. At the same time, it is necessary to be vigilant because the time for employees to receive support from the Unemployment Insurance Fund according to the provisions of Resolution No. 116/NQ-CP and the time to receive support requests from employees according to Decision No. 28/2021/QD-TTg is until December 20, 2021. Therefore, employees should absolutely not perform any requests, especially not click on any links, otherwise there is a possibility of personal information being revealed and accounts being hacked.
To look up information on support from the Unemployment Insurance Fund, employees only need to access the lookup service on the Vietnam Social Security Electronic Information Portal at the link: https://baohiemxahoi.gov.vn/tracuu/Pages/cong-khai-thong-tin-huong-ho-tro-theo-nghi-quyet-so-116nqcp.aspx. Then, enter "Social Security Number", "Full Name" and select "I am not a robot", select the answer image and click "Lookup".
