Vietnam - Korea Technical College welcomes over 1,000 students for the new school year

(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2021-2022 school year, in addition to improving the criteria of a high-quality college, the school will continue to pilot training in key international-level occupations; Expand cooperation with businesses, universities, and colleges at home and abroad.

On the morning of November 8, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College held the opening ceremony of the 2021 - 2022 school year.Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; business units and a large number of staff, teachers and students of the school.

In the 2020-2021 school year, as well as the general situation of the whole country, the school was significantly affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. However, with the efforts of the staff, teachers and students, the school successfully carried out its tasks and basically completed the set targets, such as: The proportion of students graduating from the school was high; most of them were introduced to work in industrial parks and domestic economic groups such as: Samsung Group, GL Vietnam, Hong Hai Group, companies in VSIP Industrial Park, WHA Nghe An... and were highly appreciated for their capacity, skills, ethics and character.

In addition, the school also consults and introduces labor export and study abroad in Korea and Japan with stable jobs and income. During the school year, nearly 700 students were contacted for internships; over 700 students found jobs domestically and internationally after 6 months of graduation, reaching a rate of nearly 90%.

At the 2021 Provincial Vocational Skills Competition, the school had 04 competing occupations and 03 demonstration occupations; the school won the first prize overall. With that result, the school was honored to be selected by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Jury to select 6 students to participate in the 2021 National Vocational Skills Competition in early December 2021.

Also in the 2021 school year, there were 51 scientific research projects among teachers and students; including projects applied in production practices, projects participating with the whole population in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, winning the "top 20 potential" award in the Nghe An Innovative Startup Talent Search Contest in 2021, 08 projects participated in the startup idea contest organized by the General Department of Vocational Education in the Central region online, 02 projects entered the final round at the end of November 2021.

In addition, the school has gradually implemented the contents of the criteria for a high-quality college according to Decision 1363/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister and Decision 371/QD-TTg on pilot training according to German standards for 02 professions. 32 students, upon graduation, are awarded dual German and Vietnamese degrees.

In the 2021-2022 school year, Vietnam - Korea Technical College welcomes over 1,000 new students in 11 majors and professions. The school focuses all resources on striving to meet the criteria of a high-quality school, focusing on improving the quality of the teaching staff; vocational skills, foreign languages, and information technology of students.
