Speaking at the end of 2.5 days of questioning, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed: The groups of issues selected by the National Assembly are correct and on point, suitable to reality, and are of interest and highly appreciated by voters and public opinion nationwide.
After 2.5 days of urgent, serious, intellectual and highly responsible work, with a spirit of innovation, the National Assembly completed the first question and answer session of the 15th tenure in a democratic, frank, enthusiastic and constructive atmosphere and was a great success.
Speaking at the end of the question-and-answer session this afternoon, November 12, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue requested the Government, all levels and sectors to synchronously deploy solutions to better implement and create positive changes for the issues that have just been questioned. The success of this one-time question-and-answer session shows that this is an effective direct supervision activity of the National Assembly, contributing to creating an impression and spreading inspiration for creative action in the effort to innovate supervision activities.

Along with the Ministers responsible for the main responses, relevant Government members (13 Government members) participated in answering, explaining, and clarifying the contents related to the group of questions; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Government, reported to clarify the issues under the Government's common responsibility and directly answered the questions of the National Assembly deputies. Participating in the question and answer session at the meeting, there were 134 deputies participating in the questioning, 12 deputies asked questions to the Prime Minister), 24 deputies debated to clarify the issues of concern to the deputies.
The National Assembly Chairman pointed out that this is the first session of the 15th National Assembly to conduct questioning and answering activities. The organization of questioning has some innovations compared to before, but the National Assembly deputies have demonstrated a firm grasp of reality with a highly constructive spirit, conducting questioning with short, clear questions, closely following the group of issues; especially enhancing debate to clarify the issues; frankly pointing out limitations and weaknesses, requesting clarification of responsibilities, as well as proposing solutions to overcome them; thereby also suggesting and supplementing solutions for the Government, ministries and branches to have appropriate decisions in management and operation, meeting the trust and expectations of voters and people nationwide.
The National Assembly Chairman assessed that the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and Heads of sectors, with high awareness and responsibility, answered seriously, did not avoid difficult and complicated issues, and clarified many issues raised by delegates; at the same time, accepted responsibility for the existing shortcomings and limitations of sectors and fields; and made commitments to overcome them to create positive changes in the coming time.
