For students who are under centralized medical quarantine, or are living and residing in areas with Covid-19 epidemic (according to the Provincial People's Committee's Decision on establishing medical quarantine in Vinh city), online teaching will be organized for students, absolutely no student will have to stop studying.
Regarding this content, responding to Nghe An Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training said: At present, the organization of teaching and learning is only implemented for grade 12 students to ensure the safety of students and also create favorable conditions for them to prepare for the final exam. After stabilizing the organization of direct teaching activities for grade 12 students, schools continue to develop plans and measures to prevent and combatCovid-19 epidemic, to prepare for 10th and 11th grade students to return to school, when there is written permission fromDepartment of Education and Training.
During the teaching process, schools also need to proactively develop appropriate plans, switching from direct teaching to online teaching when the Covid-19 epidemic has complicated developments (at a high risk level) or in the classroom, in the school there are students infected with F0, F1 with SARS-CoV-2. In case students have to be quarantined, the Department requires schools to create all conditions for online teaching for them, ensuring that no students have to miss school.
The spokesperson of the Department of Education and Training also said: Currently, the epidemic is still complicated, the Department also hopes that parents will cooperate with the school to do a good job of epidemic prevention.
On the part of schools, before resuming teaching, it is necessary to focus on reviewing safety conditions for organizing direct teaching; taking statistics on the situation of teachers, staff and students affected by the epidemic; supplementing facilities according to school safety requirements in the new situation; organizing cleaning and disinfection of the entire school campus and classrooms, developing effective epidemic prevention and control plans; continuing to strictly implement the guidance documents of the Department of Education and Training.
