(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 18th, the "Women and Population Work in the New Situation" competition was held in Thanh Linh commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An).

The competition is a valuable platform, creating opportunities for healthy interaction among women participating in population work. Through this, it contributes to raising awareness among women members and the public about the Party and State's policies and laws on population work in the new context.
At the same time, it affirms the role and responsibilities of women in all aspects of life; equipping them with knowledge and skills for caregiving.reproductive healthin different periods and age groups, and with the goal of improving the quality of life.

The competition is organized in the form of an exchange and learning session, with prizes. Each competition has 3 participating teams, each team consisting of 5-10 members, including 5 official members and 5 members (who can be both male and female) participating as supporting performers.

The competition program consists of three parts: a knowledge test with the theme "Understanding and Sharing"; a talent and creativity test with the theme "Complete Happiness"; and a cheering section with the theme "Connecting Love - Strengthening Solidarity". The competition was lively and engaging, attracting a large number of female officials and members, representatives from various departments and organizations, and population workers in the area.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to the team from Thanh Linh commune; and the second prize to the teams from Thanh Lien commune and Thanh Chuong town.
