Meeting with 23 outstanding female full-time trade union officials.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 18th, the Provincial Labor Union organized a meeting with delegates of full-time female trade union officials and female workers attending the 16th Nghe An Provincial Women's Congress, term 2021-2026.

The meeting was attended by Comrade Kha Van Tam – Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor.
Continuing the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, female workers and employees in Nghe An province are increasingly demonstrating their significant role in all fields of work, making many important contributions to the development of the province. Representing more than 102,000 female union members and workers throughout the province, 48 women from 28 grassroots trade union units had the honor of attending.Nghe An Provincial Women's CongressThis is the 16th term (2021-2026). It includes 23 full-time female trade union officials and 4 exemplary women in various fields.

The Provincial Women's Congress is an important political event, considered a celebration for the women of the province. The meeting organized by the Provincial Labor Union demonstrates the concern of the Provincial Labor Union leadership for women, the women's labor movement, and women's advocacy work throughout the province. Through this, the Provincial Labor Union has the opportunity to understand the thoughts and feelings of the women and encourage them in the face of important tasks in the coming period.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union Kha Van Tam expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the great contributions of female trade union officials in particular, and female workers in general, in all fields, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. He also emphasized that the lives of female workers, especially female factory workers, still have many issues that need attention and resolution, and women's activities need more attention to promote the role of women.Workersin building trade union organizationsnew situation.
On the eve of the congress, the comrade expressed hope that the women representing the 102,000 female workers and employees attending the congress would make significant contributions to the common forum and continue to "breathe life" into the activities of the trade union organization and women's work.
