(Baonghean.vn) - The total number of households under lockdown in Vinh City is 176 households with about 700 people, distributed in 13 wards and communes, of which 2 localities are proposing to lift the lockdown on November 18.
On the morning of November 18, Nghe An recorded 34 new Covid-19 infections, including 1 community case in Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city.
After the test results are available,Nghi Lien communehas locked down 7 households, 20 people in Luong Luong hamlet, the patient's living area. It is known that this new case is a student at a university in Vinh city. Currently, the locality has traced 2 F1 in the commune and 41 F1 are students studying with the patient.

The patient is the younger sister of the previously announced NTD patient (address: Hong Lac Hamlet, Nghi Dien Commune, Nghi Loc District). On November 17, the patient had symptoms of fatigue so she went to the Nghi Lien Commune Health Station for examination and was tested rapidly with suspicious results. Immediately afterwards, the patient's sample was taken and sent to the CDC for confirmation of positive results for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
