On November 20, when Tinh was going to Song Than Industrial Park (Di An City) to continue selling counterfeit money, he was arrested by the police.

At the time of inspection, in the trunk of the subject's motorbike there was more than 100 million VND in counterfeit money, all with the same serial number.

Searching the suspect's residence in Tay Thanh ward (Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh city), the police continued to seize many exhibits used to produce counterfeit money such as computers, heat presses, printers, ink, money printing paper, and many uncut copies of money.

Working with the police, Tinh confessed to buying the above equipment to make counterfeit money at home. After printing out bills with denominations ranging from 100,000 VND to 500,000 VND, Tinh took them to Binh Duong and Dong Nai to sell to those in need. For every 5 million in counterfeit money sold, Tinh would earn 1 million in real money.

The case is currently under further investigation by the police.
