Nghe An builds Resolution to support tuition fees for children and students affected by Covid-19 epidemic
(Baonghean.vn) - At the November 2021 meeting, the Provincial People's Committee approved a draft Resolution regulating the mechanism for tuition support for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year for preschool children and high school students in Nghe An province due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, the goal of building the Resolution is to share and support parents and students with tuition fees for preschool and primary school students during the difficult period due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to the draft Resolution, the subjects of application are:Preschool children and primary school students studying at public and non-public preschool and primary education institutions; students studying at continuing education centers, vocational education and continuing education centers according to the general education program in Nghe An province.

Expected specific support level. |
The support period is semester I, school year 2021-2022 (4 months, from September to December 2021, calculated based on the actual number of months of study). The funding source for implementation is the provincial budget with an estimated proposed support amount of VND 40,569 billion (excluding tuition fees exempted or reduced for subjects according to the provisions of Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP dated August 27, 2021 of the Government).
This resolution will be presented at the fourth session of the 18th Nghe An Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval./.
