Summary of the North Central Culture, Sports and Tourism Emulation Cluster
(Baonghean.vn) - In Hue city, a conference was recently held to review the emulation work of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the North Central cluster (including 6 provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue) and deploy tasks for 2022.
Comrades: Phan Thanh Hai - Director of the Department of Sports and Culture of Thua Thien Hue province, Head of the Cluster; Vuong Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, Deputy Cluster co-chaired the conference.
On behalf of Nghe An province, attending the conference were Director of Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports Tran Thi My Hanh and related departments and offices.

The conference focused on reflecting the activities of the Cluster in all aspects of work in 2021, and at the same time discussed and gave comments on the key directions and tasks in 2022. At the conference, leaders of the Departments discussed and specifically assessed the achieved results, the remaining problems, pointed out the objective and subjective causes of the shortcomings and limitations, thereby proposing solutions to effectively perform professional tasks in the coming time.
In 2021, the activities of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector continue to be heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Many Culture, Sports, Tourism and Family activities have had to be suspended or change their organization form.
However, with the motto "Decisive action - Aspiration to contribute", the Departments in the cluster have focused on organizing and launching many patriotic emulation movements, performing well the state management work, deploying professional activities suitable to each period and the development of the epidemic. Accordingly, innovating the form of organizing cultural activities, information and propaganda towards applying digital technology, completing assigned tasks well, achieving many results in the fields of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Family, actively contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.

The conference listened to opinions and shared experiences in managing and operating cultural, sports, tourism and family activities of the provinces. Speaking at the conference, the Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An shared some experiences and concerns in building policy mechanisms for the development of the industry in Nghe An. Specifically, Nghe An is a province that in 2021 built and approved the most policy mechanisms in the cluster. It has issued 04 Resolutions, 01 Directive, 05 Projects, 02 Decisions on legal norms, 21 plans on provincial-level fields of operation of the industry...
At the conference, representatives of the emulation cluster reported on the emulation work of the cluster in 2021, the direction for 2022; scored the emulation in 2021 in the fields of Culture, Sports and Tourism; approved the draft Regulations on the organization and operation of the cluster in 2022; approved the emulation covenant in 2022.
Emulation scoring results: The Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien Hue and Nghe An provinces were assessed by the units in the Cluster as two excellent units leading the Emulation Cluster, and proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to award the Excellent Emulation Flag in 2021. The units of Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Ha Tinh proposed to award Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism./.
