Ms. My said that after getting married, she and her husband invited both sets of parents to Hanoi for a trip, but only her husband's parents could come visit, her mother's parents lived far away and could not come.

“When I first came to Hanoi, I missed home a lot, but now I’m used to it. My parents have never been to Hanoi. I also want to take them out here to see how I live and how beautiful Hanoi is, but partly because of the pandemic, and partly because my parents haven’t been able to arrange it yet,” My shared.

Building a home together

Two years after their wedding, the “little teacher” couple has many unforgettable memories. For My, the most memorable memory is the time she went to the hospital to have her appendix removed a few months ago.

“I had appendicitis and had to have surgery at the hospital. Due to the pandemic and my parents living far away and unable to come, only Hung took care of me. During the whole week at the hospital, he took care of me from A to Z, I couldn’t find any fault with him,” My said emotionally.

Sharing her feelings after 2 years of living together, My could not hide her happiness: "I feel very lucky to be Hung's wife. I have had things that I never dared to think I would have, and have done things that I thought I could never do. In the past, I was quite shy and self-conscious, but now I have changed a lot, I am bold, confident and speak better."

The small family of “The Little Guy” lives a warm life, no different from other couples. It is known that after a period of living together in a rented apartment with 3 friends in the same situation in Hoang Mai District (Hanoi), Mr. Hung and his wife moved to rent an apartment.

Recently, the couple decided to buy an apartment in a nearby apartment building for convenience. Ms. My revealed: My family bought an apartment on the 8th floor of an apartment building with an area of 74 m2 for 1.8 billion VND. After buying, we renovated it a bit to suit our family, which cost about 100 million more. Therefore, buying a house is quite expensive, my husband and I had to borrow money from many people. We plan to move to a new house this December.

“Buying our own house was my husband and I’s biggest dream after our wedding. When we found out we were able to buy a house, our parents in the countryside, as well as our siblings and friends, were all happy and excited. Everyone was surprised because we had only been married for 2 years and were able to buy a house in Hanoi,” My shared.

Although the future ahead is full of challenges, sincere love, empathy, and sharing of like-minded hearts are the motivation for the "tiny couple" to overcome difficulties and continue to rise in life.

They have lived a life like many other young couples without any inferiority complex and standing firmly on their own two feet. Their extraordinary willpower and love for each other are spreading and motivating many people in society./.
