On the afternoon of November 29, at the Nghe An Department of Health, Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) handed over 100,000 SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test kits that the unit donated to Nghe An province to fight the epidemic.

Representing THACO, Mr. Hoang Nghia Trong - Director of Thaco Auto Nghe An said that in the past time, with the program "Joining hands to prevent and fight the epidemic", THACO has actively accompanied units, organizations and epidemic prevention and control programs nationwide in general to support medical vehicles and medical equipment and supplies to contribute to the whole country to repel the epidemic. At the same time, demonstrating the group's social responsibility.

Currently, the epidemic situation in Nghe An province is increasingly complicated, the number of new cases is constantly increasing. In order to support Nghe An province in facilitating rapid testing, THACO has decided to donate Nghe An province 100,000 SARSCoV-2 antigen rapid test kits, worth a total of 7 billion VND.

Speaking at the reception, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of Nghe An Department of Health thanked Truong Hai Auto Corporation for their attention and support for the province in the work of epidemic prevention and control. The head of Nghe An Department of Health said that all support at this time is very valuable when the epidemic situation is still very complicated. The Department of Health will immediately distribute all of these rapid test kits to localities and units to serve the epidemic prevention work. "Nghe An hopes that units, businesses, and philanthropists will continue to join hands, be unanimous and actively participate in supporting the work of preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic so that Nghe An can soon push back the epidemic and bring life back to a new normal state," said Mr. Chinh.

To date, Nghe An has recorded nearly 4,500 cases since the beginning of the epidemic. In recent days, the number of infections has continuously peaked, exceeding 100 cases/day. Currently, the whole province takes about 5,000 samples per day for Covid-19 testing.
